Lisa Plyler was born in Burlington, NC, but grew up in Augusta, GA, famously known as the home of the Masters Tournament.

She has an extensive background in the Workers' Compensation field, having spent 21 years working as a Paralegal/Office Manager at a Workers’ Compensation Law Firm.

Her years of experience on the claims side have given her invaluable knowledge and a deep respect for the insurance industry.

Lisa has been with AIA for a year and a half, and she loves the variety her role as an Associate Underwriter offers.

She enjoys tackling different tasks every day, from assisting with servicing accounts to processing renewals and reviewing Audits and Audit Disputes.

What she loves most about AIA is the family atmosphere—everyone is friendly and always willing to lend a hand.

She also deeply values the employee appreciation shown by AIA’s leadership team, which makes her feel truly valued.

Outside of work, Lisa is passionate about Disney World and loves planning Disney vacations.
