Growing up, Cecilia lived in several states, including Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Mississippi, South Carolina, and Tennessee.

Her father was a bridge builder, which meant the family frequently moved across the southeastern United States for his projects.

During this time, she met her husband, with whom she has now enjoyed 34 years of marriage. 

Cecilia later graduated from Auburn University at Montgomery and has spent over thirty years in the accounting and management field.

For the past three years, she has worked as the Accounting Manager at AIA, a position she finds both challenging and personally fulfilling.

She thrives on the complexities of insurance accounting, which was initially a new area for her. 

Cecilia appreciates how the Accounting Department supports all other departments, requiring her to have a broad understanding of various functions.

However, what truly stands out to her about AIA is the people; she describes her colleagues as family and emphasizes how everyone genuinely cares for one another.

Outside of work, Cecilia has a deep love for dogs, particularly Miniature Dachshunds and Springer Spaniels.

She enjoys training them from puppies to full-grown companions and delights in bird hunting with her Springer Spaniel, watching him in the field.
