Johnston Stakely, P&C Team Lead Underwriter
Meet AIA's Newest P&C Team Lead Underwriter - Johnston Stakely!
Johnston is originally from Montgomery, Alabama, and graduated from The Montgomery Academy in 2011. He earned his degree from The University of Alabama in 2015—Roll Tide!
After college, he began his insurance career with Alfa Insurance before moving into underwriting at South Shore Insurance Underwriters, focusing on coastal and CAT property risks. He later joined Pathpoint as a senior underwriter and team lead. Now at AIA, Johnston is excited to work with a strong team and reconnect with agents.
Johnston lives in Fairhope with his wife Andrea, their son Tripp, and their dog Saige. Outside of work, he’s an avid fly-fisherman and waterfowl hunter, often adventuring with Tripp by his side.
