Temporary Assignments Deserve Lasting Attention
For your staffing clients, the insurance conversation should start with the work their employees actually do.
AIA helps independent insurance agents like you explore workers’ compensation solutions for temporary staffing agencies placing employees in warehousing, healthcare, hospitality, office professional roles, and more. Our underwriting team can help you determine whether an account fits our appetite
As you reconnect with staffing clients this month, ask what’s changing. Are they taking on new contracts, placing workers in different roles, or adding work locations?
Bring those details into the conversation beyond just the business name on the application.
It’s also a good opportunity to encourage coordination between staffing agencies and the businesses where their employees work. Clear expectations around job-specific safety training, workplace hazards, and injury reporting deserve attention before the first shift begins.
Have a staffing renewal approaching in early 2027? Start the conversation now.
Gather the account’s operations details and loss history, then connect with AIA to discuss fit and submission requirements.
Your next staffing account starts with a conversation. Let’s have it.

Small Ways To Make November Count
A safety reminder to share. Someone to thank. A local favorite to support. Here are a few ways to bring a little extra care to your November.
November 1-7: Drowsy Driving Prevention Week
A safe trip starts before the engine does. Share a reminder with your team and clients to prioritize sleep and get behind the wheel only when alert—whether they’re leaving a shift or heading out for the weekend.
November 11: Veterans Day
Take a moment to thank a veteran in your workplace, family, or community. To everyone who has served: we’re grateful for your service and sacrifice.
November 26: Thanksgiving
Make arriving safely part of the celebration. Buckle up, drive sober, and plan a safe ride home. And before the holiday rush, let someone know you’re thankful for them. From all of us at AIA, thank you for your partnership.
November 28: Small Business Saturday
Your assignment: give a local business a little extra love. Shop somewhere new, recommend a longtime favorite, or leave a thoughtful review. Have a business you always recommend? Hit reply and tell us who deserves a shoutout.
Looking ahead...
December 1: GivingTuesday
Give your time, lend your talents, or help a local nonprofit spread the word. Generosity doesn’t have to come with a price tag.
